Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA - KL International Airport) which opened in 1998 is one of the major aviation hubs in Southeast Asia. It is located at the top of the southern corridor of Peninsular Malaysia, bordering the states of Selangor and Negeri Sembilan. The distance of this airport from the capital Kuala Lumpur is about 50km.

Kuala Lumpur Internatioanal Airport 2 (KLIA2)

KLIA2 is a new low cost airline terminal at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), Malaysia. This terminal is located less than 2 kilometers from the Main Building of the KLIA Terminal (MTB). KLIA2 was built to accommodate the rapid growth in low-cost tourism in the region and to replace the Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT). KLIA2 was opened on 2 May 2014 and all flight operations at LCCT were transferred to KLIA2 on 9 May 2014.
