| OBJECTIVES
| - To advise the Ministry of Transport and its agencies on legal matters.
- To handle legal matters that is referred from time to time.

FUNCTIONS | - To advise Ministry on matters referred to all aspects of law except on international law and Islamic law.
- To assist the Ministry in interpreting law, when requested.
- To draft or revise law documents such as legal notices, agreements and memorandum of understanding where it includes the Government as one of the parties in order to protect the interests of the Government.
- To conduct research on issues of laws.
- To participate in treaty negotiations in respect of Government projects involving the Ministry.
- To attend meetings and advise on laws relating to decisions made to ensure it is made in accordance with the law.
- To attend Parliament when it is in session to assist in legal issues when needed.
