EDTP will reduce the traveling time and traffic congestion commonly faced by road users . In addition, the use of electric locomotives in the Electrified Double Track is also benefical to local business, delivery services and cargo services by increasing the frequency and effectiveness of services due to it capability to reduce traveling time and costs fuels compared to land or air transport .
