Corporate and International Division was established in 2002 by merging the International Unit, Policy Coordination Unit, the Public Relations Unit and Statistics Unit. On 25.2.2009, as the result of Ministry restructuring, the Division has been changed to new name of Cabinet, Parliament and International Division. The Public Relations Unit, Policy Coordination Unit, and Statistics Unit have been removed from the Division, while a new unit was established which is Parliament and Cabinet Unit that completes Cabinet, Parliament and International Division.

- Coordinate preparation of feedback regarding Cabinet decisions within 2 working days.
- Coordinate Parliamentary matters including the preparation of answers and input for Parliamentary questions, the royal address, and winding up of speeches within 5 working days.
- Coordinate input / feedback on international issues in the transportation sector within the stipulated period.
- Plan and coordinate the organization of Meetings / Seminars / Conferences at the national level within the stipulated period.
- Plan and coordinate official / guest visits to the Honourable Minister and Ministry from within and outside the country within 3 working days.

- To coordinate Parliament and Cabinet matters at the Ministry level.
- To coordinate international relations in the transport sector.
- To coordinate all Cabinet feedbacks and secretariat for Pre Cabinet and Post Cabinet Meetings.

- To handle and coordinate matters pertaining to Parliament.
- To coordinate and function as the focal point for matters relating to the Cabinet.
- To coordinate and monitor international cooperation programs in the transport sector.
