| Personnel management represents the division's core function in the Ministry of Transport.
It has the additional role of a "Mini Public Services Department" whereby it takes the lead implementing public sector human resource policy. It maintains a symbiotic relationship whilst overseeing the human resource management of the departments and statutory bodies within is managed efficiently.
The Human Resource Management Division comprises of three units: Service Unit, Organizational Development Unit and Career Development Unit. |
- Ensure the work processes related to service matters is executed within seven (7) working days.
- Ensure officers achieve the seven (7) days course attendance policy in a calendar year.
- Ensure courses and exams are executed as Ministry scheduled.
- Ensure organizational restructuring, redeployment and upgrading of posts, creation of new division/unit/agency as well as service schemes and allowances review is studied and processed within 60 days upon receipt of documentations.
- Ensure disciplinary cases to be submitted to the Chairman of the Disciplinary Board four times a year.
- Ensure all client complaints on services are given an acknowledgement within a day and an initial feedback within 14 days.
- To prepare nominations for the bestowment of the Federal and State Honorary Titles and Medals within 14 days upon nomination received.

- To provide support services to various Divisions in the Ministry, Departments and Statutory Bodies within, on service matters, organizational development, performance management, career development, disciplinary matters, human resource development and training.
