The Ministry of Transport is responsible for the planning, formulation and implementation of transport policies, formulation and enforcement of transport rules and regulations as well as planning, implementing and monitoring of development programs for the transport sector, which includes maritime, air and land. Therefore, it is our vision to provide an integrated, efficient, cost-effective, technologically-advanced as well as safe transport system which will act as a catalyst to facilitate trade, promote socio-economic development, enhance multimodalism and assist Malaysia in achieving its vision to be an industrialized nation by the year 2020.
